Beloved "Hawaii Five-O" and "Magnum P.I." Star Remembered

Taylor Tuli Wily, known for his memorable roles in popular television shows and his background as a professional sumo wrestler, has passed away at the age of 56.

Wily was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on June 14, 1968. He began his sumo career in the late 1980s, competing under the name Teila Tuli. Despite his intimidating physique, Wily was known for his gentle personality off the mat.

He is best known for his scene-stealing performances as Kamekona Tupuola on the "Hawaii Five-0" reboot and as Kanoa on "Magnum P.I.".
